WHERE THINGS STOOD
What needed solving
Foodizone had started building the app with a vendor who delivered less than promised. The result: six months of delay and roughly $60,000 spent out of the launch budget.
All of it right as they needed to hold to the plan they had committed to their investors..
ANALYSIS BEFORE PROPOSAL
Our approach
The original plan aimed for a fast launch, but didn't account for the large user base Foodizone was targeting from day one. Without infrastructure built for scale, the app would have stalled often and pushed customers toward a poor experience.
Together we built a phased plan, ordered by urgency and importance and aligned with their product strategy. Top priority: the core app, just enough to launch the product in the market.
SERVICES INVOLVED
From six months
to two.
THE CHALLENGE
Once we laid out the plan, Foodizone asked us to cut the core app's timeline to a third.
We delivered on the new deadline through an alternative approach, without cutting what the product needed to include.
